Advertising and Sponsorship Terms
Last updated: 13 October 2026, version 1.0 — draft ⟨have a lawyer review before the first paid booking⟩
This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.
These terms apply between ipixvent, Esentepe Mah. 960. Sokak No: 2/6, Melikgazi/Kayseri, Türkiye (“we”) and the business that advertises on ipixvent, sponsors a Challenge or runs a Business account (“you”). They apply only to businesses, not to consumers. The business's own general terms and conditions do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them. For Season perks, the Partner Terms apply.
- You book a share of the ad slots, not a fixed number of impressions or clicks.
- Advertising is always labelled “Ad” or “Sponsored by …”.
- The app is for users aged 14+. That is why we do not accept some industries and content.
- The scoring decides who wins a sponsored Challenge, never the sponsor. Taking part is free and not tied to any purchase.
- You get no personal data, only figures. You show winners' entries only if they allow it.
- The Business account is free.
1. What we offer
Advertising in the feed. A banner with a square image, a headline, a short text and a button to your page, in the main feed, in the Challenge feed or in both. You book a package, that is, a share of the ad slots of the chosen placement during the booked period (for example 10, 25, 50 or 100 per cent). We never sell more than 100 per cent. If not all slots are sold, your campaign gets more than its share, never less. You choose the reach: worldwide, specific countries (based on the device's region setting) or a radius around a place. Within a radius, only devices that already know their location see the banner; the location stays on the device. We add tracking parameters for your statistics to your link (utm_source=ipixvent and similar); your own parameters take precedence.
Sponsored Challenge. A Challenge carries your name and logo (“Sponsored by …”) on its page, on the map and in the feed, and on request also a banner that leads into the Challenge. You provide the prize or a voucher. A voucher code is only visible to people who have submitted something in the Challenge. The Challenge itself is created by an organiser; we link it to your booking. Only published, public Challenges that are still running can be sponsored.
Business account. An account in the app backed by your verified business (see section 9).
Report. At the start and at the end, we send you a link to your report: impressions, clicks and accounts reached, and for sponsorships also views of the Challenge and entries released to you. Our own measurements are authoritative. We do not promise a particular number of impressions, clicks, participants or sales; it depends on how many people use the app.
2. Enquiry and contract
An enquiry via www.ipixvent.com/unternehmen or from the Business account is non-binding, for you as well as for us. The contract is concluded with our order confirmation by email. It sets out the service, placement, reach, period and price; where it provides otherwise, it takes precedence over these terms. There is no entitlement to a booking. You confirm that you are authorised to act for the business and that your details are correct.
3. Your content
- You supply the image, texts, logo and target link no later than ⟨time limit, e.g. 3 working days⟩ before the start. If the material arrives later, the start does not move; the time until then remains booked.
- You are responsible for your content and for the page behind the link. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights (images, trade marks, music, people shown) and that the content is lawful, including under competition, trade mark and youth protection law.
- We review every campaign before the start and may reject content or ask for changes. We may crop and resize images for display, but not change their content.
- Your content does not directly urge children or young people to buy.
4. What we do not accept
ipixvent can be used from the age of 14. We do not accept advertising or sponsorship for alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes and related products, cannabis and CBD, betting and gambling, erotic content, weapons, crypto and financial products, loans, energy drinks, or political advertising. Nor do we accept misleading advertising, content that breaks the law or the Community Guidelines, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
5. Labelling
We label advertising as “Ad” and sponsored Challenges with “Sponsored by …”. This labelling stays, even on request. If you pay users to submit entries about your business, you tell them that they must switch on “Paid partnership” when doing so.
6. Sponsored Challenges
- The scoring decides. Who wins is determined by the scoring of the community or the jury. You have no influence on it and receive no information about it in advance.
- No purchase necessary. Taking part is free. You tie neither participation nor the prize to a purchase, a subscription or anything in return.
- The prize. You provide the prize as described in the Challenge, no later than ⟨time limit, e.g. 30 days⟩ after the end. How it reaches the winners is set out in the order confirmation: as a voucher code in the app or via the organiser. We pass on winners' contact details only with their consent.
- Winners' entries. Anyone who finishes in 1st to 3rd place and is at least 18 can allow you, in the app, to show their entry. With this permission, you show it on your own channels, unchanged and with the username, not in paid advertising and not via third parties. Without permission, you do not use any entries. If a permission is withdrawn, you take the entry down within ⟨time limit, e.g. 7 days⟩. Saying no has no consequences for anyone, including for the prize.
- Apple and Google are not sponsors and are not involved.
- If the Challenge does not take place, for example because too few people take part, we refund the sponsorship fee or, by agreement, transfer it to another Challenge.
7. Price and payment
The price in the order confirmation applies, plus VAT ⟨check for tax purposes: small business exemption, reverse charge for businesses with a VAT ID number in another EU country⟩. For advertising in the feed, each week started counts in full. We send the invoice with the order confirmation. It is payable within ⟨time limit, e.g. 14 days⟩, and in any case before the start. Until then, the campaign does not go live.
8. Changes, cancellation and outages
- You can change material at any time by email; before swapping it in, we review it as we did at the start.
- Cancellation before the start: free of charge up to ⟨time limit, e.g. 7 days⟩ before the start, after that ⟨share, e.g. 50 per cent⟩ of the price. After the start, we refund nothing for the running period.
- Pausing is possible on request. The paused time only pushes back the end if we agree on this.
- If we deliver less because the app is disrupted for more than ⟨time limit, e.g. 24 hours⟩ in a row or because we stopped the campaign without any breach on your part, we extend the run time accordingly or credit the share, as you choose.
- If content breaches these terms or the law, we stop the campaign immediately. If the cause lies with you, the price remains due.
9. Business account
The Business account is free. It can be requested by anyone who is at least 18 and authorised to act for the business. We confirm the business email address via a link, compare its domain with your website, check an EU VAT ID number in the European Commission's register (VIES) and then decide manually. The “Verified business” badge only says that we have checked the business in this way; it is not a recommendation or a statement about quality. We change verified company details when you email support. We may unlink the business from the account if details are incorrect, the business no longer exists or the account breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines. The badge is visible to everyone on the profile, even if the profile is private, so that it is clear that a business is speaking here.
10. Rights to your material
You allow us to show your name, your logo and the material you supply in the app and in the report for the duration of the booking, as a non-exclusive, non-transferable right. We only name your business as a reference with your approval.
11. Data
You do not receive any personal data about users from us, only aggregate figures. We do not break down small groups, so that no one becomes identifiable. You are responsible for what happens on your page behind the link. We process your own details to prepare and carry out the booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); details are in the Privacy Policy, and for the Business account under Business account.
12. Liability
You are responsible for your content, the page behind the link and your prize. If third parties bring claims against us because of this, you indemnify us against them to the extent that you are responsible for the cause, including reasonable costs of legal defence. We are only liable for intent and gross negligence, limited in amount to the price of the booking concerned; this does not apply to personal injury. ⟨have a lawyer review the liability clause⟩
13. Final provisions
Notices by email are sufficient. Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is ⟨place⟩. If we change these terms, we tell you by email at least ⟨time limit⟩ in advance; for current bookings, the version that applied at the time of the order confirmation applies.
